ABOUT ME...

Hello and welcome. I'm Kelly, owner and Interior Design at Kelly Percival Design, a small friendly Interior Design studio based in Timperley, Cheshire.

I believe that good design isn't just about how a space looks - it's also about how it feels when all of the elements, from visuals to ambience, are  combined. With every project, I work hard to capture the emotions of my client and the essence of the space in an original elegant design that is as functional as it is beautiful. My use of layered textures, muted palettes and carefully curated, versatile pieces create comfortable, inviting and interesting living spaces.

I offer a highly personalised service, ensuring the design process runs smoothly from start to finish for every single client.

A little bit more about me.

For as long as I can remember, I’ve been creative. Its in my genes. As I child, I would spend hours with my grandma sewing, painting, baking, knitting – it was a cherished and joyful time which nurtured my love of crafts. Growing up, my Mum taught me how to make my own clothes and soft furnishings and my love for working with fabrics, colours and patterns blossomed.

I nurtured my creativity by studying Architecture at university, but my career took a different direction and I spent 25 years in Purchasing and Supply Management. In 2013, I had a health scare. A breast cancer diagnosis was a real shock and the months of treatment that followed, incredibly tough to endure whilst caring for two young daughters. The experience taught me many things, and once fully recovered, I knew the time was right for a career change. Covid was my tipping point and in 2021, I left my corporate job as Purchasing Manager for a large new build project and opened Kelly Percival Design.
